1. Who we are

Velvet & Vinter
An online gift store operated from Norway

These terms apply when you, as a consumer, buy from this store. They do not limit any rights you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.

2. Prices and currency

Prices are shown in US dollars, or in your local currency where available, converted at current exchange rates. You pay the price shown at checkout, in the currency shown. Shipping costs are shown before you pay. Import duties and taxes may apply, as described in our Shipping Policy.

3. Your order

The contract is formed when you complete payment and we send your order confirmation by email. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will tell you promptly and refund you in full.

4. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card details.

5. Delivery

We ship worldwide, usually within 1–3 weeks. See our Shipping Policy for details. If your order hasn't been delivered within 30 days of purchase, you may cancel it and get a full refund.

6. Right to cancel and returns

You have 14 days to cancel your purchase after receiving it. See our Refund Policy for how it works and for the cancellation form.

7. Faulty goods

You are entitled to goods that match their description and are free from defects. If something is wrong, contact us and we will put it right as described in our Refund Policy. Your statutory rights are not affected.

8. Product information

We describe our products as accurately as we can. Natural materials such as wood, leather and glazed ceramics vary, so colour and texture may differ slightly from the photos. Props shown in photos are not included unless stated.

9. Liability

We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Personal data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first at contact@velvetvinter.com. We'll do our best to resolve any problem quickly. If we can't agree, consumers can contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet, forbrukerradet.no), or the consumer authority or a European Consumer Centre in their own country. Norwegian law applies, but if you live outside Norway you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your own country.
